Tuesday’s are typically my husbands day off so that means
most of those are our family days. We do anything from a fun activity, going out
to eat, or simply staying home and watching a movie or playing games together.
This week we got out of town and went out to eat together.
Most of the time restaurants are busy and the staff doesn't seem like they have
enough time to take care of basics needs such as refills, or getting extra napkins.
Truthfully they seem less than pleased to be serving you, especially the
younger waiters. This week we had a much different experience than what I just
described. We went to eat at around 1:30 p.m. or so. I’m sure some of you are
thinking that’s a late lunch. Well it was our day off, so we did sleep in. Anyway,
there was maybe 5 tables full in the whole place, it was nice and quiet. Yes,
even with our girls there. There was a waiter that kept passing our table and
talking to us, it wasn’t too much and he was still doing his job.
He stop by the table and tell the girls a joke. He would
hear them laugh as he walked away, as he passed again, the same thing. I’m
actually pretty glad he gave Stella some new material because she has been
telling the same joke for a while now. So, I thought I would share some of the
humor.
What kind of key opens a banana?

Who’s there?

Owls who?
Yes, they do!

So, now if you see our Stella and she tells you one of these
jokes. Play along and act like you don’t know the answer.
For his last trick he took one of our full drinks and flipped
it with his hand without spilling. I would have taken pictures but it really was unexpected and I was too interested. I didn’t know we were getting dinner
and a show but it was quite entertaining!
So, what kind of fun do you and your family like to have?
Can’t wait to hear Stella’s new jokes!
