Who said Christians Can't Have Fun?

What a great day we had yesterday in the Lord's house.

Yesterday was Old Fashion Country Sunday at our church, and I reckon' we had a good ol' time.

There was such a great spirit! We had phenomenal preaching, new visitors, 1 person baptized and 2 new families join the church. Praise The Lord!!

But that's not all...

We had a great time of fellowship following our morning service. We had a delicious Fried Chicken Dinner with all the fixin's. It was finger lickin' good!

Following the dinner we had an afternoon service that was full of fantastic popcorn preaching by some of the men in our church. It was so neat how all of their messages that they had prepared really went together! 

There was also some competitions...

We had a Minnie Pearl "Howdy" Contest!

We had a few of our ladies participate. I'm a little biased though because this little cowgirl was my favorite.

We also did some skits from the show HeeHaw.

 They all did a great job and were so funny! 

What a mighty God we serve!
